BathhouscopyLearn about rocket stove powered water heaters, and the construction of an elegant bath house in North Kohala. Participants will learn rocket stove design, heating with fire and solar, cob & earthbag construction, plumbing & electrical using greywater, and some key points of tropical permaculture. Co-taught by Scott Howard, who builds all types of natural structures and wood-fired heaters, and Travis Dodson, a permaculture designer who has farmed food at this location for the past several years. We will integrate the bath house into the existing permaculture landscape, directing the water to thirsty plants.

$200 per weekend, or $680 for the entire week.  Tuition includes:  hands-on instruction, onsite camping, ground transportation, meals and entertainment. Class size is limited and advance registration is required.  Go to www.earthenhand.com or email Scott (scott@earthenhand.com)  to register TODAY!
